The movement of the lower jaw triggers the movement inside the mouth. So the lower jaw is moved by pressing the head back smoothly by using the chin.
All of a sudden the pain will not go. To get relieved from the pain one has to do this exercise 6 times continuously. And this exercise must be done many times in a day.
Like the first exercise another exercise also starts with the identical position.
Even though the starting positions are identical the second exercise demands to stay quite in a position in which one has to hold his jaw alongside his hand for at least 5 seconds.
Continue this for a few more times after going back to the initial position. And one can also relax by doing another exercise by moving the lower jaw from side to side.
The next factor in dealing with a TMJ syndrome is related to the posture correction. Improper posture can worsen the TMJ.
You have got all reasons in being surprised. The posture has to be enhanced in order to get a correct alignment in the body and to stop the growth of painful TMJ syndrome in shoulder, neck and back.
To evaluate the posture one can check the height of the shoulders and the length of the hand by standing in front of a mirror.
Next note whether your head turns a little towards one direction. Complicated problems arise if any of the above said non adaptability adjustments exist.
A good posture will make the TMJ syndrome pain to disappear in the long run. A good posture achieved by taking proper steps in back correction to a straight position and also making the chin to point steadily upwards.
The other way to get the good posture is by doing yoga which not only helps in posture betterment but also enables to overcome the TMJ problems.
By dealing with the pressure point that exists in between the thumb and the index finger with the help of acupressure can helpin handling TMJ syndrome
